Growth has hastened our need for field service calibration technicians. TSS is a leading biotech service company with headquarters located in Berkeley, CA. TSS specializes in the testing and certification of cleanrooms and biological safety cabinets as well as calibration of laboratory instrumentation. Our customers include biotech companies, hospitals, medical device companies as well as leading research institutions.


TSS is currently interviewing for field service calibration technicians to work in and around the San Francisco Bay Area, San Diego, Los Angeles and Boston. We also have openings in the states of Washington, Colorado and New York. We are seeking a calibration technician with a minimum of 6 months experience with basic electronic test equipment. Specific disciplines include electrical (DC and 60Hz), mass, air flow and pressure. You should be a self starter, able to work with minimal supervision. Proficient in the use of computers and software, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Access as well as the ability to learn and be proficient with multiple calibration specific software packages. You should be able to read, understand and be proficient with technical manuals for various equipment types. You should also be able to read, write and edit Calibration Procedures and related controlled documents.


The technician will perform work in a cGMP environment in accordance with TSS & client SOP's as well as ISO 9000:2008 and 17025. The position requires excellent communication, math, and mechanical abilities. This is a field service position that requires driving so a clean DMV record is important.
